For the past fourteen years, Abby Garcia Gomez has been a key member of Walltown Children's Theater. As a teacher and student, Abby not only keeps the studio running smoothly but also inspires a new generation of dancers who will one day assume her skills and expertise. Watch as Abby navigates her final year at Walltown and how this amazing young dancer brings a whole new meaning to the word "leadership".

Taking photos of Abby has been one of the highlights of my first year at Duke. From the first photoshoot, it was obvious that Abby was not only a phenomenal dancer but also an incredible person who is doing so much to give back to a place she calls home. I am so incredibly grateful to Abby and her family, the students in her class, and everyone at Walltown for providing me the opportunity to photograph and document this journey.
